Brower Literary & Management is a full-scale literary and management agency that takes pride in the authors we represent as we help them achieve their goals and live their dream. We operate as a team so that every author has the full support of everyone in the agency, with each author feeling like they have a team behind them. We are hands on to support an author from the beginning stages of their book all the way to and through the publication process. In addition, we also work with publishing houses in managing their subsidiary rights, like audio and foreign/translation rights.
Please note that we have two separate divisions to the agency - Literary Representation and Subrights Management.
WHO WE ARE
Kimberly Brower — President & Senior Literary Agent
Kimberly fell in love with reading when she picked up her first Babysitter’s Club book at the age of seven (Super Special editions were her favorites) and hasn’t been able to get her nose out of a book since. She holds a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge and received her JD from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. After spending a decade in the business world, it was kismet that she found herself in publishing. She takes great pride in her client list, from the debut authors to #1 NYT bestsellers, and likes to consider them all her favorite authors. She previously worked for over two years at a boutique literary agency before starting her own. After spending 14 years in California, she is thrilled to be back on the east coast, currently based in Florida. Kimberly oversees all agency projects (frontlist and backlist), handles submissions, negotiates deals and cultivates relationships with publishers, companies and vendors in all media. When she's not facilitating opportunities for authors in expanding their rights, she manages the entire agency as a whole.
